The role of Clinical Lead - Dental & Oral Health at NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (BNSSG ICB) is designed for a registered dental practitioner with leadership experience to implement a strategic dental plan aimed at improving NHS dental services for the local population. The successful candidate will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including dental practices, local authorities, and health service providers, to enhance service quality and effectiveness. Key responsibilities include providing dental expertise, driving oral health promotion, increasing access, addressing health inequalities, and overseeing workforce development.

In this position, the Clinical Lead will engage in effective communication and negotiation to foster stakeholder relationships and ensure successful project outcomes. They will also participate in case investigations, advise on clinical matters, and support the integrated development of dental care within the BNSSG region. This role requires strong leadership to guide the delivery of the dental strategic plan and promote collaboration across various dental networks to adopt best practices and deliver optimal care to patients.
