The Deputy Ward Manager/Charge Nurse role at the Oncology Ward of Churchill Hospital, Oxford, is a 12-month fixed-term position aimed at covering maternity leave. The successful candidate will support the Ward Manager in delivering clinical and managerial leadership while gaining insights into managerial responsibilities. Key competencies include problem-solving, effective communication, and the ability to lead and mentor junior staff. Candidates are expected to have a degree-level education or be working towards it, alongside at least two years of cancer care experience and relevant specialist training.
