Livewell Southwest is seeking a Trained Nurse for their Functional Mental Health Unit, Cotehele, located in Plymouth. The role involves working with predominantly older adults (65+) within a 10-bedded mixed ward, where you'll address both physical and mental health challenges. As a Trained Nurse, you will assess care needs, develop and implement care programs, supervise staff, and ensure high standards of care are maintained in line with NMC guidelines. The position requires rotation across a 24/7 shift pattern, with responsibilities extending to training staff, managing drug administration, promoting patient involvement in care planning, and engaging in clinical governance initiatives.

The ideal candidate should possess computer literacy and strong information governance skills, along with the ability to engage with multidisciplinary teams. Additional benefits include enhanced payments for night and weekend work, pension access, and support for personal development through tailored supervision.
