Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a passionate Consultant Psychiatrist to fill a part-time position within the Kilburn Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) and the Early Intervention Service (EIS). This role, necessitated by the retirement of a current consultant, involves managing a defined caseload, overseeing medical staff, and ensuring compliance with Trust policies and clinical standards. The successful candidate will participate in service planning and development, lead assessments and treatment planning, and actively engage with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

The post holder will conduct detailed psychiatric assessments, provide clinical supervision, and facilitate ongoing support for service users and their families. Duties include managing emergencies through domiciliary visits, maintaining accurate clinical records, and guiding continuous improvement initiatives within the teams. Additionally, the consultant will partake in administrative responsibilities, attend professional development programs, and contribute to fostering effective service delivery and collaboration with various stakeholders in mental health care.
