The University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Materials Management Officer to join their team at St. Richard's Hospital in Chichester. This role involves delivering a cost-effective materials management service, ensuring the effective replenishment and organisation of ward stocks using PDA/bar code technology. The officer will be responsible for maintaining stock levels, managing storage areas, and performing manual handling tasks such as unloading goods and restocking supplies.

In addition to logistical tasks, the Materials Management Officer will support the Trust's Procurement strategy, participate in product evaluations, and communicate supply issues with staff. The ideal candidate should possess strong customer service skills, a flexible approach, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality materials management throughout the Trust.
