The University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking a Trial Manager for the Leicester Diabetes Centre, which is one of Europe's leading facilities for clinical research in diabetes and related long-term health conditions. The role involves overseeing the setup, management, and execution of research studies and clinical trials, requiring experience in trial management or coordination. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, a strong communicator, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

In this position, the Trial Manager will handle multiple research studies, ensuring they are managed effectively to meet timelines and targets, while also addressing any challenges that arise. The role includes potential national and occasional international travel to support research sites, as well as line management responsibilities over administrative staff and supervision of a trial coordinator. Notably, candidates must be able to work on-site at the office.
