We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Werrington, a juvenile prison located in Staffordshire.
Hours
The site currently offers a 24-hour service and shift patterns
Monday to Sunday- 9.00 to 17.00/7.30 to 15.30/ 13.00 to 21.00 (flexible). Will include some night shifts too.
Salary
This position can be full time or part time, youll receive an annual salary up to £40,211 per annum depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK on a permanent basis and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
As a Primary Care Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- support the registered nurse in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received
- undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening
- promote safe patient care
- develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.
