The role of Senior Podiatrist at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust involves providing high-quality podiatric care for patients with pathological foot conditions, as well as those at risk of serious foot health complications. The position requires HCPC registration and strong assessment, diagnostic, and clinical skills to manage complex cases, including wound care, nail surgery, and musculoskeletal issues. The podiatrist will work in a modern health center with local clinics and a home visiting service, collaborating closely with other healthcare teams.

Candidates should be self-motivated, possess excellent communication abilities, and be able to work autonomously as well as within a team. The role includes managing a domiciliary caseload, overseeing treatment plans, and training support staff and students. Continued professional development is emphasized, with support for ongoing clinical supervision and training opportunities. A valid driver's license is necessary for home visits. The position promotes collaborative patient care, effective communication, and confidentiality, while also addressing any challenging behavior that may arise.
