The South West London and St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking a Clinical Teaching Fellow in Psychiatry to enhance the quality of clinical placements for medical students. This role involves teaching undergraduate students primarily focused on adult mental health while also fulfilling clinical duties at the ST4-ST6 level. Applicants should have full MRCPsych or be preparing for the Part II examination. Although the position is not accredited for specialist training, the successful candidate will receive support for study leave and will significantly contribute to the teaching of various mental health specialties within the St George's University of London MB BS programmes.

In addition to teaching responsibilities, the post holder will assist in developing learning objectives, contribute to clinical examinations, and engage in various educational activities, including lectures, tutorials, and the organisation of assessments. The role is ideal for individuals aiming to specialize in psychiatry, as it offers opportunities for educational research, audits, and participation in training programs. The Fellow is also encouraged to enroll in a postgraduate certificate in healthcare and medical education to enhance their teaching skills further.
