We are seeking an experienced Senior Administrator to join our Administrative team. You will support the Community Integrated Neighbourhood Team for North & West Bristol.
You will work well as part of a team within a very busy locality coordination office, be supportive to the Locality Managers, the wider clinical teams, the admin team and be familiar with patient data base systems and staff Health Rosters.
The successful candidate will hold qualifications in Numeracy and Literacy level 2 qualification or equivalent, have a high level of IT Literacy and preferably hold an NVQ level 3 in Business Administration.
Previous experience within a healthcare setting is desirable, but not essential.
Required hours of work will be full time 37.5 per week. Hours are between 8am and 8pm, 7 days per week, on a rota basis. This role is in person, based predominantly in NBICC, but will be required to visit our other bases in Horfield and Shirehampton.

Lead and manage the review, coordination and allocation of referrals within the locality working closely with other servcies to achieve timely patient hospital discharges and efficent care allocation.
Support to Managers including proactively arranging meetings, booking appointments, minute taking at meetings,new initiatives, projects, audits, staffing trackers (recruitment, terminations, SRP's, Bank etc) and budgets.
Coordination of team capacity and staffing rotas.
Lead and manage community team administrators.
To work collaboaratively with the other locality administrators to imbed consistent and high quality support and systems across the service.
Responsible for training and development of Band 3 administration staff within the team and to provide ad hoc training and support across the whole team when new initiatives are implemented.
Plan and organise a broad range of complex activities, reprioritising own workload at very short notice as urgent issues or new tasks arise.
To provide short term support and coordinate cover within the team in the absence of Band 3 administration staff e.g. sickness cover.
To establish good communication systems within the locality, ensuring a culture of openness and efficiency.
Provision of support and escalation of issues that arise within the teams regarding referrers, patients and relatives and managing or escalating appropriately as the situation demands.
