The University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is offering three positions for Therapy Assistant Practitioners in Elective Orthopaedics, available in both full-time and part-time capacities. Candidates will work as part of a multidisciplinary team within the Elective Orthopaedic Unit, focusing on providing therapy to patients post-surgery. Responsibilities include managing a clinical caseload, conducting patient assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and facilitating timely discharges to promote recovery. The role requires collaboration with physiotherapists and occupational therapists, and the use of critical thinking to address both physical and psychological patient needs.

Successful candidates will also engage in training to enhance their skills and competencies, support less experienced staff and students, and contribute to the development and evaluation of personalized care plans.
