The Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is offering a full-time permanent position for a Consultant Psychiatrist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, focusing on the Crisis and Home Treatment Service as well as the CAMHS Liaison Service. This role includes providing consultations to team members and partner agencies, ensuring the appropriate use of the Mental Health Act, conducting mental health assessments in various settings, and maintaining high-quality clinical documentation. The consultant will also supervise and appraise junior medical staff, engage in ongoing professional development, and contribute to the overall management and planning of mental health services.

Additional responsibilities involve participating in the Trust's academic programs, maintaining professional registration, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based, person-centered care. The position emphasises fostering therapeutic relationships with patients and their families, as well as actively participating in the financial and operational management of the service to support quality mental health care delivery.
