The role of the Child Death Overview Panel Chair in Eastleigh, part of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board (ICB), involves overseeing a multi-agency panel tasked with reviewing child deaths to identify lessons learned and prevent future fatalities. This independent position requires extensive experience in child death review and safeguarding, as the chair will engage with various stakeholders to promote collaboration, shared decision-making, and effective governance across four local authorities.
