The East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a motivated and experienced individual for the role of Failsafe Officer/Trainee Diabetic Eye Screener in Bexhill on Sea. The primary responsibility will be to manage a failsafe system that ensures all diabetes patients receive necessary eye screenings, particularly focusing on engaging hard-to-reach patients. Candidates must demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently under deadlines. The role requires completion of an administrative competencies in health screening course and a level 3 Diploma in Health Screening, as the post holder will also provide clinical cover as a diabetic eye screener once trained.
