We are looking to recruit to a full time, permanent, Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker. This post will support the Autism Assessment Service and the successful candidate will assist the team in delivering timely assessment and evidenced based post-diagnostic support with service users. To provide targeted support to service users and/or their families. To assist Registered Professionals in assessments and post-diagnostic support. Providing routine advice on areas of knowledge/expertise, in a manner relevant to the audience and topic area (i.e. service users, and carers,) Liaison with partner services and Preparation/completion of routine documents, including letters, reports, presentations and forms e.g. photocopying, filing. Handling telephone queries including a shared responsibility for reception Assisting service users /relatives during incidental About us The post holder will undertake the following duties and responsibilities at all times demonstrating the competences assigned to the role detailed in the associated KSF outline: Communicates with service users and families, all members of the multi-disciplinary team and with external agencies using a variety of methods including Information Regularly reports and effectively communicates the status of the Autism Assessment service users in care records and verbal reports to Registered Health Professional staff members and other members of the multi-disciplinary Relates appropriately with service user, carers, colleagues and others at all times maintaining professional boundaries.
