This is a role as a Second Chef in a care home setting, where you will have the opportunity to work with fresh, seasonal ingredients to create nutritious and flavorful meals for the residents. The role offers a more balanced work-life schedule compared to a typical hotel or restaurant environment.

As a Second Chef at Barchester Healthcare, you will assist the Head Chef in developing menus, working with fresh produce to deliver high-quality and wholesome dishes. You will be responsible for managing the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence and creating a warm and efficient environment. The role requires a personable and warm approach, with a genuine interest in the wellbeing of the residents.
