The position offers an opportunity for motivated individuals to develop their leadership, managerial, and educational skills within a supportive environment. Applications are open until January 26, 2025, with shortlisting and interviews scheduled shortly after the closing date.

You will be highly motivated and ready for a challenge as we support you to develop your leadership, managerial and educational skills. You will work alongside the Ward Manager of ward 27 to lead and manage the team and to ensure the highest quality of care is being delivered to the patients who have been identified as Medically Optimized for Discharge.
Applicants must have at least 2 years post graduate experience and hold a teaching certificate.
Responsible for the assessment of patients' care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of patient care
Supports the Ward Manager to ensure effective leadership and management of the ward/department, including supervision and delegation of work to junior staff as directed by the ward/department manager
Participates in teaching, mentoring and assessing of students, trainees and professional staff.
