The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is offering a full-time Locum Consultant position in Glaucoma to cover maternity leave within its Ophthalmology Service. The role involves providing comprehensive glaucoma services as part of a multidisciplinary team, which includes Consultant Surgeons, Specialty Doctors, and various healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering glaucoma services and supporting infection control initiatives.
  • Supervising and training specialty trainees, as well as teaching medical students and other hospital staff.
  • Engaging in undergraduate and postgraduate education, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical audits.
  • Contributing to service development and policy reviews, alongside continuing professional development.
