The "Lead Pharmacist – Ophthalmology and Surgery" position at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in London presents an opportunity for a specialist pharmacist to join the ophthalmology directorate at the Western Eye Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital, which serves a significant volume of patients, including over 5,000 outpatients monthly. The role involves providing a patient-focused clinical pharmacy service, integrating into surgical and ophthalmology teams, and developing expertise in ophthalmology. Responsibilities will include managing medicines, supporting the dispensary, participating in procurement, and delivering education and training to enhance patient outcomes and medication safety.
