Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Healthcare Assistant/Trainee for the Baysdale Respite Service in Middlesbrough. The service caters to children with profound learning disabilities, autism, and associated physical/emotional challenges. The role requires providing personal care, monitoring health issues, and collaborating with other professionals. Candidates should be flexible, enthusiastic, and possess a caring attitude. A Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 2 or equivalent is required, along with Literacy and Numeracy Level 2. Those lacking these qualifications must enroll in the Healthcare Assistant Framework within two years.
