Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is hiring a motivated and friendly Porter to join their Facilities Team at Charlton Lane Hospital in Cheltenham. This role involves providing porter and driving services across the hospital, including both non-patient and inpatient areas, on a shift basis throughout the week. Key responsibilities include maintaining high standards of service, working collaboratively within the team, and communicating effectively while following instructions. Candidates should possess good communication skills, the ability to adhere to procedures, and ideally have prior experience in a similar role. The purpose of the role is to provide porter and driving services within Charlton Lane Hospital/Cheltenham Locality.

The service we provide operates shifts across 7 days of the week. The successful candidate will be working throughout the hospital in non-patient and inpatient areas. We are looking for a person who can work as part of the team to maintain the high standards.

This patient facing role requires candidates to have good communication skills. The successful candidate will require the ability to follow instructions and procedures via written, verbal and IT methods of communication and preferably have previous experience in a similar role or environment.
