The University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust is seeking a motivated Wound Care Nurse for their Podiatry team in Kendal. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence-based clinical care for patients with high-risk foot conditions, both in community settings and at Westmorland General Hospital. The ideal candidate, an NMC registered nurse, will have the opportunity to develop specialized skills in wound care and arterial assessment, while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to enhance care pathways.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care programs, providing expert advice and evidence-based interventions, and educating and training colleagues. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, as the role requires independent work and the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical practitioners to improve the quality of care provided.
