The role of Human Resources Advisor in the Community Care Division at Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool is aimed at an experienced HR professional who will provide generalist HR support to various teams and managers within the organisation. The position emphasises delivering proactive HR advice related to operational management and supporting employee relations processes, including attendance management, disciplinary measures, and informal resolutions.

Candidates should be CIPD qualified (or working towards it) and possess experience in managing a diverse HR portfolio, particularly in employee relations within a unionized context, preferably in the NHS. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a commitment to NHS values, capable of negotiating and influencing outcomes, while working effectively under deadlines. Key responsibilities also include advising on Agenda for Change terms and conditions, as well as HR policies and procedures.
