The Barnet Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) service is looking for an experienced Community Psychiatric Nurse to join their high-performing team in Barnet, North London. The role involves providing compassionate care to adults experiencing their first episode of psychosis, offering a range of psycho-social interventions based on a bio-psycho-social model. As a care coordinator, the nurse will assess, develop, and deliver tailored care packages while collaborating with a diverse multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and other health professionals.

In this position, the nurse will manage a defined caseload, supervise junior staff and student nurses, and engage with clients and their families to promote recovery. Responsibilities also include maintaining client contact during hospital admissions, facilitating their reintegration into the community, and working with other agencies to enhance awareness of psychosis and reduce untreated cases. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in managing psychosis and be familiar with current practices and guidelines.
