The Public Health Programme Lead will join Surrey County Council's Health Improvement substance use team, based in Reigate, to lead various projects aimed at combating drug use and related issues. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to implement the Government's 10-year drug strategy, "From harm to hope," which focuses on reducing crime, saving lives, and improving health and wellbeing in Surrey. Responsibilities include convening partnership meetings, enhancing system coordination, providing treatment and recovery solutions, and developing comprehensive local plans to address strategic priorities. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing relationships, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of drug and alcohol harm and treatment.

The position offers a salary starting at £52,047 for a 36-hour work week, along with a range of benefits, including annual leave, professional development opportunities, and wellness support.
