Vita Health Group is seeking experienced mental health professionals or social care workers for the role of Trainee High Intensity Therapist (HIT) in Nottingham, beginning March 2025. This full-time position involves enrolling in a one-year PGDip in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at the University of Lincoln.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver High Intensity CBT interventions to clients with moderate to severe common mental health disorders.
  • Participate in clinical practice for three days per week and university training for two days, with a mix of remote and face-to-face instruction.
  • Receive weekly supervision from university and workplace mentors.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Recognised professional qualification in mental health or social care, meeting BABCP’s Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes (KSA) requirements.
  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Experience in mental health services, including risk management.
  • Membership of BABCP required when the course begins.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Evidence of CPD in CBT and experience in IAPT services.
