The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two Band 4 Breast Cancer Support Workers to join their Breast Cancer team in Hampstead. The successful candidates will collaborate closely with Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialists to provide holistic care and support to cancer patients and their carers. They will also perform holistic needs assessments, offer information about cancer services, and facilitate patient navigation through the health and social care systems. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the role involves sensitive interactions with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, requiring empathy, integrity, and diplomacy.

The position requires daily engagement with patients both face-to-face and via telephone, making it crucial to foster trust and understanding. Additionally, the role supports the delivery of personalized cancer care interventions and may involve cross-site collaboration with the CNS team at both the Royal Free Hampstead site and Chase Farm Hospital.
