The University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a B5 Senior Pharmacy Technician for Dispensary and Cancer Services in Sutton Coldfield. This role offers a unique opportunity for a motivated and resilient individual to develop specialized skills while supporting the Specialist Pharmacy Technician in delivering a high-quality pharmacy service. The position involves a split focus between the main dispensary and cancer services, with responsibilities including coordinating workflow, overseeing daily operations, training staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and managing stock effectively.

Candidates must possess a nationally recognized Pharmacy Technician qualification, be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council, and hold an accredited accuracy checking qualification, along with substantial hospital pharmacy experience. The role demands excellent organisational and communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a flexible approach to meet service needs. This position includes in-service development training for leadership and management skills, and participation in evenings, weekends, and bank holidays on a rotational basis is required.
