The Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Receptionist for its Victoria House location in Morecambe, with responsibilities extending to outpatient and inpatient settings across Lancaster and Morecambe. The ideal candidate should possess strong organisational skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and demonstrate excellent communication abilities when engaging with staff, service users, visitors, and carers. The role requires flexibility in working days and hours, as well as the ability to adapt to various site locations as needed.

The successful applicant will contribute to maintaining a high standard of reception services within The Bay Network, collaborating as part of a wider admin team while also being capable of working independently. Essential to the role is the ability to solve problems and engage confidently with a diverse range of people, necessitating a professional demeanor and commitment to providing quality service.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist based at Victoria House, Morecambe but work agile covering our Outpatient and Inpatient settings across Lancaster and Morecambe.

We are inviting applications from individuals with excellent organisation skills, ability to work on your own or as a member of the wider admin team. The successful candidate will be able to communication with staff, servicer users, visitors and carers in a professional manner. The successful candidate must be computer literate, able to use Microsoft office packages and a good telephone manner.Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is a great place to work and has a sound future as a leading provider of excellent mental health and substance misuse services. This would be covering 3 working days to be confirmed with either the following start and finish times:

08:30 till 17:00 (with an hours lunch break)09:00 till 17:00 (with an 30 minute lunch break)

Please note: Flexibility on days/times and site location is required to support service needs.

The post holder will be organised, professional, committed and will assist in providing a high standard, quality reception service with The Bay Network.

The post holder will work flexibly in response to the needs of the service providing cover to various sites including Inpatient as directed by their line manager to ensure continuity of service provision.

The post holder will have knowledge of relevant customer service procedures applicable to this role. Problem solving is an integral part of the role.

The role will involve contact on a daily basis with a wide range of people - both internal and external to the organisation and therefore requires a confident approach. The post holder will need to be a team player with very strong communication skills.
