The Wye Valley NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Midwife for the role of Fetal Wellbeing & Surveillance Midwife in Hereford. This position entails expertise in midwifery care throughout the childbirth continuum, necessitating close collaboration with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care. The successful candidate will provide support and education to midwifery staff and students on CTG monitoring and fetal surveillance, contributing to high-quality intrapartum risk assessments and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement on the labour ward.

Additionally, the Fetal Monitoring Lead will work alongside the Lead Obstetrician and Education Team to develop educational programs aimed at improving CTG interpretation and overall birth outcomes. The role emphasises maintaining effective communication within the multidisciplinary team and creating conducive learning environments within clinical practice, ensuring that all staff can enhance their competencies in fetal wellbeing.
