The South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SECAmb) is seeking a 999 Clinical Supervisor to join their dynamic team in Gillingham and Crawley. This role is open to Band 6 Paramedics and Nurses with at least two years of post-registration experience in acute medicine, primary care, and emergency settings.

The Clinical Supervisor will work within a multidisciplinary clinical team, primarily responsible for conducting remote patient triage via telephone, ensuring that patients receive appropriate care pathways. Candidates need extensive clinical experience, strong patient consultation skills, and the ability to manage their own workload under pressure.

Key responsibilities include providing clinical oversight for emergency calls, using a Computer Aided Dispatch system to maintain patient safety, and negotiating treatment and referral strategies. Experience with telephone triage is beneficial. Applicants must be registered Clinicians with a background in primary care and urgent/emergency care, demonstrating sound assessment and decision-making skills.
