BPAS are looking for a Treatment Doctor to perform terminations of pregnancy in our Reading Clinic. This role would be every Friday.
As a treatment doctor you will provide safe, effective and comprehensive surgical and medical terminations of pregnancy to BPAS clients.
This role is working at BPAS Reading, with the option to provide services in other areas nationally if you are able. You will be operating up to 13+6 under conscious sedation, and have the opportunity to train to 24 weeks gestation.
BPAS is an independent healthcare charity which has been advocating and caring for women and couples who decide to end a pregnancy for more than 50 years. We are the leading specialists of abortion advice and treatment in the UK, taking care of almost 80,000 women each year in over 50 clinics nationwide. Nearly all the women we see have their care paid for by the NHS.
About You
With a Bachelor of Medicine or equivalent and full General Medical Council registration plus a license to practice,you will be passionate and committed to reproductive healthcare. You will ensure that all BPAS clients are treated in a professional and caring way and have unwavering support for a woman's right to choose abortion.
A good communicator you enjoy building strong working relationships across the business and enjoy maintaining such relationships as well.

Hours / Working Pattern: Friday - 08:30 to 16:30
Salary: £101,000 - £151,000 per annum (pro rata for part time) depending on gestational skills & experience.
