We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and creative speech and language therapist to join our team!

This is a recently formed team that supports children with difficulties with comprehension, expression, and speech. The successful applicant will work in community clinics, children and family centres, and various venues in Tower Hamlets.

This is an exciting time for our service as it is developing to better meet the needs of the community. You will be involved in universal, targeted, and specialist levels of support. Our children have a range of needs and you will be involved in offering various interventions as well as raising awareness of early language development. The service as a whole works within the Care Aims framework and seeks to enable children to communicate more effectively and get the most out of home and school life. The team is a supportive and friendly one where your enthusiasm, empathy, and creativity will be welcomed.

The post holder is an autonomous practitioner, providing assessment, diagnosis, prognosis, and a variety of intervention programmes in the management of the under 5s caseload.

The post holder provides clinical support and may supervise more junior speech and language therapists, as well as providing day-to-day supervision of bilingual speech and language therapy (SLT) co-workers involved in providing a service to preschool / Early Years Foundation Stage children managed by speech and language therapy.
