This is a temporary chef position at Barchester Healthcare, a leading healthcare provider in the UK. The role involves delivering hotel/restaurant standards in a care home setting, working with fresh seasonal produce to create nutritious and flavoursome menus for residents. As a Bank Chef at Barchester, you will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavoursome and well-balanced menus while working with residents to tailor the menus around their preferences. You will be required to help manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, work with fresh produce to deliver high-quality dishes, and help create a warm, efficient, and fun environment. You will also be responsible for managing stock control and completing regular audits.

NEED TO HAVE

A personable and warm approach with a genuine interest in the wellbeing of residents Hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent Experience in helping lead and inspire a team A good understanding of nutrition Experience of working with fresh seasonal food The ability to create a warm and welcoming environment within our home Good understanding of HACCP
