As a Practice Nurse, you will be a vital member of our clinical team, delivering essential nursing care and supporting the health and wellbeing of our patients. You will work alongside GPs, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our community.
This part-time post will be up to 22.5 hours per week over 3 days but we have some flexibility with this for the right candidate.
Provide general nursing care, including wound management, vaccinations, and phlebotomy.
Perform health promotion and screening, such as cervical cytology, smoking cessation, and lifestyle advice.
Support the management of long-term conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
Deliver patient education and promote self-management where appropriate.
Assist in the delivery of minor illness and treatment clinics (if trained).
Contribute to the development of care plans and practice protocols.

They will be involved in identifying practice population needs and in being proactive in making suggestions for service improvement.
The post holder is expected to undertake any training and development necessary to keep their knowledge and practice up to date and current.
