The Practice Nurse will play a key role in the clinical team, providing essential nursing care and promoting patient health and wellbeing. This part-time position offers up to 22.5 hours per week over three days, with flexibility for the right candidate. Responsibilities include general nursing tasks (wound management, vaccinations, phlebotomy), health promotion and screening (cervical cytology, smoking cessation), and supporting long-term condition management (diabetes, hypertension, asthma). The nurse will also assist with minor illness clinics if trained, contribute to care plans, and work on service improvement initiatives. The role requires ongoing training to maintain best practices and improve patient care standards.
