Humber's Adult Autism Mental Health Support Service aims to enhance support for autistic adults and their families/carers during mental health crises.Additionally the candidate will have the opportunity to work into Humber's Adult Autism Diagnostic Service (HAADS) one day per week.

As a principal clinical psychologist the role will involve supporting and offering training to mental health crisis and inpatient services within the trust, providing expert advice and care formulations for their autistic service users. As a key member of Humber's Adult Autism Mental Health Support Service, you will also be integral in working alongside the team to develop and build the service to ensure the best support is being provided to those that need it.
You will be responsible for: -
- Supporting teams across the unplanned division of mental health services to develop care formulations for their autistic service users.
- To support with the development and learning of the staff within the team as well as unplanned services.
- Manage clinical issues arising within the team in the absence of the Clinical Team Leader.
- Ensuring a responsive, high-quality service is provided to the patients, staff and systems that access the service
- Undertaking autism diagnostic assessments under HAADS one day per week.
- Maintain compliance with the trust's key performance indicators
- Ensure the delivery of a safe, caring, responsive, high quality service for our service users, their families, and carers by ensuring compliance with Statutory and Regulatory requirements, standard operating procedures, and protocols.
