Selected candidates will participate in the Children and Young People's Psychological Training, specifically the IPT-A course, while also engaging in clinical work at Hammersmith and Fulham CAMHS. Applicants must apply simultaneously for this trainee role and for a UCL Postgraduate Diploma in Child and Young Person IAPT Therapy to be considered.

The full-time training entails approximately 2.5 days of academic study and 2.5 days of client work each week. Trainees will provide therapeutic interventions under supervision, focusing on young people with moderate mental health issues like low mood and anxiety. This role involves collaboration with families, colleagues, and other professionals, aiming to develop a high-quality, inclusive mental health service.

Trainees will be employed by H&F CAMHS while studying and will receive substantial support and supervision throughout their training. Early application is encouraged due to the competitive nature of the role.
