The North East London Foundation Trust is seeking a senior Family Therapist for the SET CAMHS Eating Disorder Service in Chelmsford, Essex. This role involves supporting the development and implementation of a new Intensive Day Programme aimed at preventing Tier 4 admissions and providing comprehensive community support for children and young people struggling with eating disorders. The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal Clinical Lead and Team Manager to deliver psychological support, conduct assessments, treatment, and outcome measurements, as well as provide clinical supervision to other staff.

Applicants should possess extensive experience in addressing complex cases involving young individuals facing significant distress, while also engaging with their families and relevant systems like education and social care. The role is suited for professionals with advanced therapeutic skills in psychological interventions for disorders such as Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, OSFED, Binge Eating Disorder, and ARFID. NELFT encourages those from various professional backgrounds—including mental health nurses, psychologists, and therapists—to apply, even if they do not meet all listed criteria.
