NHS England is seeking a motivated individual for the role of Training Programme Director for Cardiology in North Central East London. This position involves collaborating with the Postgraduate Dean to ensure the delivery of training programs that meet both national standards set by the Royal College and specific guidelines within Cardiology. The director will oversee the regional training program, manage recruitment for training posts, and address various trainee-related concerns, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and ongoing professional development among trainees.

The ideal candidate should be an experienced NHS Consultant with a comprehensive understanding of Cardiology training in the region, alongside strong leadership and communication skills to effectively engage with a multidisciplinary team. This position is open to secondments from within the NHS, contingent upon prior agreement with the current employer.
