The Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse Development role with Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in Wrexham is designed for a trainee advanced practitioner focusing on cardiac rehabilitation. The position requires the candidate to engage in both workplace learning and academic studies aimed at obtaining the Advanced Nurse Practitioner Qualification. The successful applicant will possess a nursing background in cardiology and ideally have, or be committed to completing, a Master’s in advanced clinical practice within five years.

The role involves providing specialized cardiac rehabilitation care, promoting patient recovery and self-management while working both autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team. The post holder will implement cardiac rehabilitation interventions across Flintshire and Wrexham, with travel necessary for the position. Fluency in Welsh is desirable but not mandatory, encouraging applications from both Welsh and English speakers.
