Key responsibilities include collaborating with team members, external providers, and commissioners to ensure high-quality patient care, contributing to policy implementation, and serving as an expert resource for clinical decision-making. The practitioner will also play a critical role in mentoring and supervising staff, ensuring they receive the necessary clinical support and training to meet their professional objectives within the framework of LCHS core values.
Lincolnshire Integrated Sexual Health Services (LiSH) have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced clinician to join our Countywide service as a highly Specialist Sexual health Practitioner.
LiSH provides services to a range of patients requiring sexual health and contraceptive needs.
This post is likely to commence from April 2025
We are looking for an individual who can evidence relevant experience in a sexual health/contraception role with associated skills and knowledge.
Ability to travel and support clinics in the Countywide service is essential.

Main duties of the job are:
Responsible for the complex clinical assessment, investigation, diagnosis and treatment and/or referral of patients within LISH services
Work collaboratively with the team, external providers and commissioners, to ensure the right care, by the right person, at the right time and in the right place.
Support the delivery of policy and procedures, contributing to the achievement of a quality, evidence based service, excellence in clinical practice,
Act as a positive role model to teams at all times and always acting within LCHS core values
Act as an expert resource for patient care and decision making
Initiate and provide skilled supervision/coaching of others. Ensure that staff access clinical supervision and training, receiving appropriate support from their line managers, and working to objectives set via a current appraisal.
