The Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Senior Pharmacist for Medicines Information and Clinical Services, offering both part-time and full-time positions. This role involves providing high-quality clinical enquiry support to healthcare professionals and patients through a dedicated medicines helpline, as well as delivering direct patient care at the ward level. The successful candidate will also be responsible for training junior staff and may engage in service improvement projects, with a commitment to maintaining accurate information and procedures related to medicines.

Candidates should be experienced pharmacists with strong communication and organisational skills, dedicated to ensuring safe and effective medication use. Core responsibilities include medication reconciliation, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and making recommendations to enhance patient outcomes. The Medicines Information component of the role constitutes 0.5 WTE, while the clinical services aspect can range from 0.1 to 0.5 WTE, allowing flexibility for the right candidate.
