The Wye Valley NHS Trust in Hereford is seeking a Paediatric Emergency Medicine Consultant to join their Emergency Department, which handles around 70,000 attendances annually, with 20% being paediatric cases. This role involves leading the Children & Young Peoples' Emergency Department, which is a dedicated space within the main ED. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team of five Consultants, supported by Specialty Doctors and other medical staff, to develop services and improve patient care. The position offers flexible working arrangements, including part-time options, and involves providing clinical leadership, managing patient care, and ensuring effective communication within the healthcare team.

Responsibilities include overseeing the delivery of emergency services, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient experience, and engaging in clinical governance activities such as audits and quality improvement projects.
