The Clinical Lead position for the Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) service at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust in North Tyneside seeks a motivated individual who is recovery-focused and has experience in managing psychosis, particularly for first episodes. The role involves providing clinical leadership, supervision, and advice to a multidisciplinary team (MDT) while engaging service users, carers, and staff in promoting well-being. The candidate should be prepared to implement NICE guidelines, ensure high standards of clinical practice, and lead clinical audits.

In addition to oversight and development of training programs, the Clinical Lead will deliver advanced-level clinical interventions to a designated number of service users and will collaborate closely with the Team Manager and other clinical leads. This position requires strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills, particularly when managing complex cases, to maintain an effective care pathway based on evidence-based interventions.
