Whittington Hospital is seeking a Specialist Pharmacist in Oncology and Haematology. The role involves clinically screening and verifying prescriptions for systemic anti-cancer therapies (SACT), referencing authorized protocols and pathology results. The position also supports Technical Services by maintaining Standard Operating Procedures alongside the Chief Technician and Lead Pharmacist. The pharmacist will occasionally deputize for the Lead Pharmacist and participate in a seven-day pharmacy service, including dispensary coverage, bank holidays, and an on-call rota. We are looking for a pharmacist to join our team, as a Specialist Pharmacist in Oncology and Haematology.

You will be supporting the Cancer Service by clinically screening and verifying prescriptions for SACT with reference to authorised protocols, pathology results and other relevant parameters. This post also supports Technical Services, with involvement of maintaining Standard Operating Procedures, together with the Chief Technician and Lead Pharmacist.
