Band 8a: £53,755 to £60,504 a year  PERMANENT 
When in post you will work as part of a dynamic team to deliver an effective EPRR service, supporting managers and staff across the Integrated Care Board and wider Integrated Care System, to ensure a robust and resilient NHS response to any incident or event.

NHS Sussex Integrated Care Board have an exciting opportunity for an experienced candidate to join the Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) team, managing all aspects of EPRR within the NHS, specialising in training and exercising and business continuity programme delivery. This role will provide support to the Deputy Head of EPRR ensuring EPRR work streams and programmes of work are delivered.

When in post you will work as part of a dynamic team to deliver an effective EPRR service, supporting managers and staff across the Integrated Care Board and wider Integrated Care System, to ensure a robust and resilient NHS response to any incident or event. You will also manage all aspects of the EPRR training and exercising portfolio including development and delivery of the training and exercising plan and schedule, ensuring it is aligned to key risks and NHS core standards. You will represent health and work with multi-agency partners within the Local Resilience Forum in Sussex.

The successful candidate will be proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team, have previous experience in EPRR and ideally have experience of working within the NHS. They will also need to be educated to masters level or equivalent, such as the Diploma in Health EPRR.
