Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Anaesthetic and Recovery Practitioner for their Women's Centre theatres in Headington. The role requires a motivated individual with a minimum of three years of experience in obstetrics and/or gynaecology, along with completion of a practice supervisor/assessor course. The successful candidate will possess strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, as they will be essential in a dynamic team environment that includes five theatres—three for obstetrics and two for gynaecology.

In this position, responsibilities will include maintaining high standards of clinical practice, participating in educational programs, and supporting the development of nursing and non-nursing staff. The role involves compliance with health and safety regulations, reporting incidents, and engaging in personal and professional development through structured orientation and appraisal systems. The practitioner will play a vital part in promoting research-based practices and enhancing patient-centered care within the department.
