Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Finance Manager for the Outpatient Pharmacy in Preston. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) involves providing strategic leadership to the pharmacy team while ensuring the effective financial operations of Lancashire Hospitals Services Ltd. Key responsibilities include managing financial transactions, preparing monthly financial reports, ensuring compliance with contractual KPIs, overseeing the external audit process, and preparing annual budgets. The Finance Manager will also play a vital role in enhancing financial performance, managing resources, and collaborating with the Operations Manager.

The position requires an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is keen to contribute to the continued development of pharmacy services. While maintaining a visible leadership role is essential, there may be flexibility to work from home once a week. The role also includes line management of accounting support staff, participating in quarterly board meetings, and providing strategic advice to the board to ensure compliance with policies and statutory requirements.
