Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Practice Educator Radiotherapy to cover a 15-month period, with flexibility for part-time applicants. The role requires a clinically competent, proactive senior radiographer to oversee the educational and training needs of the radiotherapy workforce at the Worcestershire Oncology Centre. Responsibilities include supporting newly qualified, international, apprentice, and qualified radiographers, leading training initiatives, and maintaining clinical competencies. The candidate will collaborate with clinical leads and educational institutions to develop training programmes, facilitate student placements, and ensure compliance with training standards.

In addition to educational responsibilities, the Practice Educator will also engage clinically to retain and enhance their skills, guide the accurate delivery of radiotherapy treatments, and provide mentorship throughout radiographers' careers. Key aspects of the role include participating in quality management and clinical governance, supporting patient care through effective communication and monitoring, and promoting professional development and research initiatives.
