The East Cheshire NHS Trust is seeking a Support Secretary for the Department of Breast Care Nurses on a fixed-term basis for 12 months, with an 18-hour work week. The role involves providing efficient typing and administrative support, requiring fast and accurate audio typing skills and a solid understanding of medical terminology. Strong communication and organisational abilities are essential, along with experience in handling sensitive information and prior secretarial roles. Familiarity with hospital IT systems, like PAS and Medisec, is beneficial.

Hours per week: 18 hours

To provide an efficient and effective typing and administration function to the team. The post requires fast and accurate audio typing skills, and a sound knowledge of medical terminology.

Good communication, organisational skills, and previous secretarial experience is essential as is experience of dealing with sensitive information. Knowledge of medical terminology and previous experience using hospital based IT systems such as PAS and Medisec will be advantageous.
